Helmholtz Institute Münster Ionics in Energy Storage
The Helmholtz Institute Münster for Ionics in Energy Storage (IEK-12) was founded in July 2014. It is run as a branch office of Forschungszentrum Jülich together with the University of Münster (WWU) and RWTH Aachen University. IEK-12 is concerned with researching electrolytes as a key component for new battery concepts. The electrolyte is a central part of any battery and is crucial for making the use of renewable energy sources cheap and widely available, thus successfully transforming the German energy sector.
We are looking to recruit a
Young Investigators Group Leader for the field of anion-conductive electrolytes for solid-state batteries
• The earliest possible starting date is 1 January 2016.
• The Young Investigators Group will be located at the Chair of Physical Chemistry I (Prof. M. Martin) of RWTH Aachen University.
