Investigation of NASICON structured materials for all solid state batteries
NASICON structured materials are an interesting class of electrolytes for all solid state batteries due to high ionic conductivity and low material cost.
My work focuses on the conductivity and stability of Li-ion conducting NASICON materials with different compositions. A comprehensive screening of the published data is conducted and based on the analysis samples of selected compositions are produced for further experiments. The focus is laid on impedance spectroscopy and four-point conductivity measurements as well as diffusion experiments in conjunction with secondary ion mass spectrometry.
