Are you interested in the synthesis and properties of colloidal systems?
This comprises e.g. nanoparticles, polymers, emulsions, surfactants, liposomes etc. These systems are important in a variety of technical, biological and physico-chemical issues.
Our work includes e.g. the synthesis of switchable polymers and their physicochemical examination by various methods, for example light scattering, fluorescence or flow property determination, to biophysical and biomedical applications.
We cooperate with various working groups at the RWTH Aachen University and we also use the excellent experimental opportunities for international research centers as the Institute Laue-Langevin in Grenoble.
